This is a promotional image for the National Portrait Gallery’s exhibition Headspace Nine, which just finished on November 15. I only got around to seeing the show on its last day and was surprised by this beautiful graphic, reproduced on the exhibition flyers and available as a free poster (printed on a really yummy heavy-weight matt paper).
I guess some artists find it troubling when they discover striking similarities to their own work. But personally, I relish such moments of synchronicity. And of course, my work has plenty of precedents too.
I only wish the designer had been credited. If anyone knows, please leave me a comment.
